Are you our next construction machinery salesperson?

Polar Machine Trading is looking for a driven and experienced construction machinery salesperson who wants to help develop our business. We work with sales, brokerage, and financing of construction machinery with offices in Luleå and Sundsvall, as well as salespeople covering the entire country. Through our broad global network, we can handle the entire process of selling or importing machinery to our customers.

About the role

As a salesperson with us, you will be responsible for sales, brokerage, and financing of construction machinery to both existing and new customers. You will become an important part of our sales team and will work with everything from customer contact and quotation work to handling the entire process of importing and exporting machinery.

Sales and customer contact

  • Contact and follow up potential customers
  • Prepare quotes and negotiate agreements
  • Broker machinery between sellers and buyers
  • Help customers with financing solutions
  • Follow up leads and sales opportunities

Technical advisory and process management

  • Advise customers on suitable machinery for specific projects
  • Handle the entire process of importing and exporting machinery
  • Provide technical support and product information
  • Act as the customer's contact person throughout the entire process
  • Utilize our global network to find the right machine or buyer
  • Participate in trade shows and industry meetings

Administration

  • Register customer contacts and deals in our CRM system
  • Follow up deliveries and customer satisfaction
  • Report sales results and market activities
  • Collaborate with service and logistics departments

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced salesperson who is passionate about customer contact and has a strong desire to learn even more about construction machinery. You should be driven, relationship-building, and have the ability to see opportunities where others see challenges. With us, you get the chance to work with both Swedish and international customers within our global network.

Requirements

  • High school education, preferably with technical orientation
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in machinery or construction industry
  • Driving license category B (own car is an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Experience working with CRM systems and MS Office

Meriting

  • Experience in sales within construction, building, or machinery industry
  • Technical background or education in machinery/technology
  • Network within the construction industry
  • Experience in commercial negotiation and contract work
  • Experience in import/export or international trade
  • Knowledge in machinery financing
  • Driving license for heavy vehicles (C/CE)
  • Multilingualism (English is meriting)

Employment type

Permanent employment full-time with 6 months probationary period. Start according to agreement, preferably as soon as possible.
